    MEMBER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE

    This position is responsible for providing our members with individualized and timely service while assisting them in utilizing and benefiting from credit union products.  This position will also open new accounts and will provide a broad range of general information and facilitation of product use.

    Must be available to work from 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM Monday - Friday and 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM on Saturday.

    Responsibilities:

    • Responsible for securing the building at the end of business day
    • Supervisor on duty during Saturday business hours
    • Responsible for opening new accounts and establishing relationships with credit union members
    • Be well-trained in product knowledge in order to offer quick and accurate assistance to members
    • Assist with operational duties
    • Must remain professional and courteous with members at all times

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Must be 18 years of age or older
    • High school diploma/GED required
    • Two to three years of Teller experience
    • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
    • Proficient in both Microsoft Excel (formulas, data entry, functions, etc…) and Microsoft Word (letter composition).
    • Ability to switch between tasks efficiently and effectively prioritize pending work items
    • Quick and concise decision making
    • Ability to learn a new operation system and multiple web-based software platforms and money handling machines
    • Knowledge of Teller policies and procedures beyond the basic level
    • Solid understanding of new account creation, IRAs, certificates, and checking & savings accounts

    BILINGUAL TELLER

    This position serves as a primary contact for our members and consists of providing information for our products and services, opening new accounts, taking deposits, assisting with withdrawals and helping facilitate the use of other products and services.

    Must be available to work from 8:00 AM - 5:30 PM Monday - Friday and 8:30 AM - 12:30 PM on Saturday. 

    Responsibilities:

    • Handle cash transactions
    • Facilitate deposits, withdrawals and transfers
    • Post loan payments
    • Answer general account inquiries and provide account information
    • Assist with member problem resolutions
    • Develop working knowledge of all credit union products and services
    • Provide appropriate account disclosures

    Qualifications and Skills:

    • Must be 18 years of age or older
    • High School diploma/GED required
    • Bilingual (English/Spanish)
    • Prior cash handling experience
    • Good communication and interpersonal skills
    • Attention to detail
    • Ability to follow policy and procedures
