President's Annual Meeting Message
The 70th Annual Meeting of the Columbus United Federal Credit Union was held March 15, 2018. Board Directors Ileana Jarecki and Dan Determan were re-elected to three year terms.
Credit Union President, Brian Christensen provided this message to members:
2017 saw the credit union come very close to 8000 members as more and more people sought us out for important financial services. It’s great to say that we can accommodate many banking needs, from a wide range of lending products to a complete lineup of convenient money services.
Double digit loan growth was experienced over the last year where members bought new cars, financed their new home, or came in for quick cash for those unexpected events in life. We certainly have money to lend and look forward to brisk activity in 2018. In addition to the lending growth, we have enjoyed great support for our convenient services like Mobile Money and Account@ccess, which allows immediate access for account information and directed transactions.
With $62 million in assets, your credit union has the financial capability to offer the products and services you expect. Our staff strives hard every day to create a friendly, personable banking experience. We certainly appreciate the trust that our members place in us, and are working hard to maintain the expertise you have come to count on.
A word of thanks is also in order for our board of directors and supervisory committee for their faithful volunteer service to the credit union. In this complicated world of financial services their commitment to guiding and directing our operations is appreciated.
We look forward to this next year with great expectations of continued success driven by a focus on making the financial lives of our members more successful.
