The 71st Annual Meeting of the Columbus United Federal Credit Union was held March 21, 2019. Board Directors Amy Blaser and Kaylene Luedtke were re-elected to three year terms.
It certainly is a privilege to serve our loyal members that generate so much success for the credit union. As a full-service financial institution, we are pleased to be able to offer the community the opportunity to experience the credit union difference. A difference that we hope each of our members feel each time they interact with the staff or use a product or service that adds convenience or value to their busy lives.
Last year your credit union made 2604 loans totaling over $25 million. These loans came primarily in the form of auto loans, but many members borrowed money to buy or build a home, go on vacation, or meet ordinary household expenses. We also experienced increased use of our variety of convenient account access services. We were also very pleased to have added Mobile Deposit to our lineup of those convenient services. With Mobile Deposit members can deposit checks buy simply snapping a photo of the check with their phone and transmitting it the credit union.
At $62 million in assets, your credit union has the ability to offer the latest in products and services. Our staff is also here to give you the personal attention that you expect as an owner of the credit union. We know that you have many options when it comes to banking services and we want to be your first choice as you select where you do your business.
As always, your board of directors and supervisory committee continue to faithfully discharge their volunteer duties in serving your best interest. Staying engaged in an ever-changing banking environment takes time and energy. We want to thank them for their commitment to the credit union.
The staff of your credit union is committed to serving you with great energy and innovation. We look forward to continued success brought on by our members commitment to their credit union.
Brian Christensen, President.
